I've been searching for a long time for unique and innovative guitar products to compliment my growing line. A guitar strap lock is a necessity for musicians who perform standing on stage for long periods of time. Nothing is more embarrassing than having your guitar strap slip off right in the middle of a performance. There are machined strap locks that require taking out the stock pegs out of the guitar. POPit LOCKit is a much simpler, user friendly concept, especially for a guitarist who wants to make a quick and easy strap change during a show. When I came across POPit LOCKit, I thought it was a pretty cool idea and seemed very easy to use. I ordered a pack today and I'll test them out on my bass in the studio. The fact that you don't have to put a screw driver to your guitar and the low price makes POPit LOCKit an attractive option for guitarists.

My POPit LOCKit’s arrived today and I opened the package to inspect them. I measured .125” thick x 1.15” inches in diameter with a .250” inner hole. They’re thick and pliable. At first I was a bit skeptical how well this might hold my thick bass guitar strap, but once I put them on and twisted them to make a secure interference fit, these suckers were not coming off. I repeatedly karate chopped the inside of my strap trying to dislodge them, but the POPit LOCKit’s held tight. Very Kewl !!

This product is extremely useful and good to keep a few handy in every guitarist’s gear bag. POPit LOCKit’s can be a life saver in a pinch with a troublesome guitar strap.

The POPit LOCKit Strap Locks are made from a from a special proprietary material that is designed to be flexible yet durable. Simply put on your guitar strap as you normally do and then POP the discs over each strap button. The special POPit LOCKit material will grab the metal on the button and work with the strap to tighten up. Once securely fastened, you are fully protected for any normal use.
